MORE THAN ANYONE REALLY NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT ANNE GENEVIEVE
I'm named for my two grandmothers.
Anne Genevieve is a double name. It drives me crazy when people call me Anne.
I love my name (the whole thing) and have always been called by both names.

I live life on the upside of awesome.
I believe that perspective is a choice.
In my opinion, choosing to have a perspective of joyful gratitude is never a bad thing.
Being a 3rd parent (stepmom, aunt and Godmama) is one of the most amazing things I am.

I love to travel, but I loathe unpacking my suitcase when I come home.
I believe comparison is the thief of joy, and I strive to choose joy always.
Bacon, funnel cake and foie gras are basically my favorite foods.
I surround myself with amazing people and I laugh every day.
I return the buggy regardless of the weather or time.
I speak in different accents on the regular.
I'm a little pyscho about grammar.
I say "Roll Tide" a lot.
I'm a big fan of naps.
I love to dance.
I was single for years.
I met a really nice guy in December of 2020.
I blew him off because I was in a chaotic season of life.
He kept reaching out. He was consistent and steady in his pursuit.
We had our (second) first date in August of 2021.
It turns out he's the greatest man I've ever met.
10 weeks later, he asked me to do life with him.
We got married in February of 2022.
He is my favorite affirmation of God’s incredible faithfulness and perfect timing.
I try to find as much joy in every moment of life as possible.
It's not always easy. Life can knock the breath out of you sometimes.
I've made choices that I'm not proud of making.
I'm not immune to reality, and I struggle.
I have weaknesses and fears.
I know what loss feels like.
I'm broken and I'm sinful.
Thanks to Jesus, I am forgiven and redeemed.

I have a learning difference and struggled academically my entire life.
I was well into my 20's before really believed that I was smart.
I've had an unexpectedly successful professional career.
I've managed a $30M national business line and led it to repeatedly achieve YOY growth.
My greatest professional accomplishment is the teams I've built,
the relationships I've established
and the people in whom I've had the opportunity to invest.

I believe that life, family and business are interconnected.
I believe that joy overlaps.
If you lead at home, you lead in business and you lead in life.
If you have joy at work, you can have joy at home.
If you can inspire your children, friends and family, you can inspire your colleagues.
If you enjoy the physical space where you spend time, you feel better.
My work is about all of this.
It's about the world in which we live, the things I've experienced,
the things I don't understand and everything in between.
I've loved to create and imagine for as long as I can remember.

I graduated from the University of Alabama in 1999 with a BA in Studio Art.
